League Losers:

Sweet T: We're back at it with another one coming at you with the boys. I got Bombo and r w King here, and today we're talking about the league losers. These are the guys that you're gonna be drafting. It's gonna cost you your season and lose you your money or your bragging rights or your reputation.

Guys, we're gonna go ahead and get into it. We're gonna start off with King today. King, why don't you hit us with your list?

King: Thanks T. Yeah. I think going into this season, man, it's gonna be pretty easy to pick some league losers. You know, probably a little bit easier even when we're trying to pick 'em as league winners or probably lose the shit for me. But that's how it rolls. And obviously injuries, we can't factor those things in, but I think you gotta take into account their, their body types and they're breaking down maybe a little bit and maybe they shot their wads already and that's it.

My biggest wad shooter, who's just not gonna do anything else. Again, Cooper Cup, everybody loves him. Again, bouncing back, he hurt himself a little bit last year. He is hurt every year. Guys, the one year he didn't get hurt, he blew up with a new quarterback. Their line stinks. They're not gonna be able to do anything.

He'll get his, but he is gonna get hurt again. Cooper Cup, I think is, he's a guy who's gonna go in the top 10, top five, probably. He's number one, number two receiver, three receiver behind Jefferson Chase and those guys, Tyreek Hill, he's right there behind them. So I just don't see putting that, that kind of draft capital out for a guy who's just had one year and he is really had one year and no one really looks at that, you know, but hey, it is what it is.

But Cooper Cup to me is gonna be the biggest donkey loser of the year. My second donkey loser of the year, and this is tough, but I just hate the dude anyway, and I'm glad he is outta my fucking division. But Aaron Rogers, I'm doing all these mocks and I'm seeing guys reaching for Aaron Rogers and I'm like, okay guys, stop. He shouldn't even be drafted in a 10 team league. Barely be drafted in a 12 team league. There's other guys way better than him. I don't understand why people even look at him, but he's my biggest loser. AA Ron. One that I want to talk about and I want you guys to chime in on a little bit later is a guy that we talked about this guy and doing all these mock drafts, he's rated so high, he's going in every first round mock, and I just don't fucking get it.

But my biggest league loser this year is gonna be bi Jean Robinson. I just don't get it, guys. He hasn't touched the field once. He never played a full season at Texas. He can't stay on the field. Sure, he's a dynamic player, but what can we do with that? Well, I mean, he's a dynamic player who's not gonna be on the field, who has, no offense, nobody around him.

Everyone's going to key on him. They got no quarterback to do anything. I just don't see him as doing anything and a first round guy in every mock draft. Definite league loser. But those are my big three. Chime in. What do you think Bombo? Who are your guys?

Bombo: I feel you on that definitely on the Aaron Rogers one King. I want to, I want to ask you with, with. The jets being on hard knocks, do you think that's going to blind some of these people and make them higher on Aaron Rogers? And possibly, because you said, if you're in a 10 team league, and you're reaching for Aaron Rogers.

It's off name recognition. He hasn't played a meaningful snap with the jets yet, but there's gonna be Hans hard knocks, they're gonna be featuring him. I don't know if you guys saw his first episode, but they're, they're, they're on his jockstrap. And I, I think that's gonna get people to really reach for Rogers.

Let's say you.

King: I agree. And, and that's what the nar, they're gonna change the narrative. He was a dick, he was everything else. You know what I mean? But it just, they're gonna change that narrative on him so that you know, all everyone will start accepting him. And he's a good guy, and that's why he's changing the narrative in New York, hanging out with his teammates.

He was there with sauce. Gardner at a game or whatever, had a big chain on everything else. So he wants to change you or the perception of who he is, but he's still a douche and he still sucks.

Bombo: I feel you on Bija Robinson King. I think when you're, when you have a rookie running back who has not played a snap in the N F L yet, and you're drafting him as the one of the first three running backs off the board, he's gotta be a, I mean a, a world beating talent. I mean, I put my coconuts out there one year and drafted Saquon Barkley number two overall as rookie year, and it panned out.

But that's because I watched the kid in college and I know what kind of beast he was. So I just don't see that from Bija Robinson. I hope he does, but he's, he's going to a really bad offense right now. Hope people aren't using the a top five pick on him, but we'll see. What brings me to a couple of guys that.

I'm definitely aren't gonna win you your league, and if you're gonna be the loser, it's probably gonna be because you're one of these guys that drafts off a name recognition. And two guys that come to mind are Deandre Hopkins and Mike Evans. Both are now in really bad quarterback situations. In my opinion.

Deandre Hopkins goes to where all great receivers go to die, and that is the Tennessee Titans. Oh, LA Julio, Randy Moss, these guys I just don't, I just don't see Deandre Hopkins replicating his fantasy output that we're used to seeing from Dhop in the Titans. They're, they, they struggle to move the ball through the air.

I. I really don't even see it had to have been a money move because I think Trey Burkes is the future of the position there, and I don't really like things taken away from their future dhop. And if, if he comes in and doesn't demand the ball maybe, but that's not his style. He's gonna come in and wanna be a target monster and he doesn't have the quarterback to do it.

Which brings me to Mike Evans, who just doesn't have a quarterback. So it's Trask Baker Mayfield. Us who's, who's, who's throwing the ball in Tampa. The Mike Evans that we're used to seeing in Tampa was because he had gifted arms throwing to him. Now people can say whatever they want about Jamis, but Jamis had a, a Canon and Jamis was a gun slinger.

Tom Brady is Tom Brady. Now Mike Evan's gonna have to prove it with one of these no-name guys who are throwing ducks out there from what I'm seeing. And they have the name cachet and the previous draft pedigree. And I guarantee you listeners, you play with the guy that knows names and is gonna draft based on names.

Let the other guy draft Deandre Hopkins and Mike Evans. 'cause they're not gonna give you wide receiver one numbers. At best flex numbers, but wide receiver one. Wide receiver, two days are over For these guys, just based on who's throwing them, the ball, the systems that they're in and their previous pedigree.

King: I think those are all great points. Bumble, and d hop I, I think is a little bit, both of these guys a little bit down on the downhill side of their career. So I think the great greatest point was who the fuck's throwing in the ball. But what do you, what says u t.

Sweet T: Guys, I really like all of your picks. Although King, I will say you put your coconuts out there a little bit with Aron. I. I think the guy's gonna be a little bit rejuvenated, so it's gonna be kind of weird to see. But again, I'm not a fan of his, so you know.

Media: Man, you are one pathetic loser.

inner. He hasn't played since:

He's gotta build that chemistry With Trevor Lawrence, he's, you know, having some struggles in camp early, so, I don't know. I think maybe later in the year he'll do all right. But Calvin Ridley, that's gonna be my guy out there that if you pick him high, he's gonna lose you a lot. So with that said, guys, we're gonna go ahead and close up our league.

Losers great picks. Great shit guys. And we'll see everyone on the next one.
